Terms & Conditions
Please take some time to carefully read the following Terms & Conditions to ensure that you understand
each
provision. BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICE, YOU SIGNIFY THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO
BE BOUND BY
THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO USE THE SERVICE OR DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF THIS
AGREEMENT, YOU DO NOT HAVE OUR PERMISSION TO USE THE SERVICE.
No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship is created as a result of these Terms &
Conditions, and neither party has any authority to bind the other in any respect.
1. Service Description
EDEV Connect provides prepaid eSIM profile reselling that allows travelers to use data
at
competitive rates while abroad without inserting any physical SIM card.
2. Registration
By registering and using the EDEV Connect application, you agree to the Terms and
Conditions of
this service and the operating rules, guidelines, and procedures that may be published from time to time
on the
application, each of which is incorporated by reference and may be updated.
3. Privacy Policy
We are committed to keeping your personal information secure. Industry-standard security technologies and
procedures protect your data from unauthorized access or disclosure. No security measure is completely
secure, and
we cannot guarantee absolute security.
By accessing or using EDEV Connect, you agree to the use of the information you provide
for
contact and feedback purposes. We may use your information to inform you of future services. You may
request
adjustments or deletions of your information at any time. We automatically collect data about your use
of
EDEV Connect, your device operating systems, IP address, etc., to troubleshoot, improve
services,
and analyze usage.
This Privacy Policy may be revised occasionally. We will notify you of any significant changes. You are
responsible
for updating your personal information.
4. Registered Intellectual Property Rights
You may not use our trademarks, logos, IP rights, commercial names, or copyrighted material associated
with
EDEV Connect without prior consent. Removal of authorship or rights notices is
prohibited. All
intellectual and industrial property rights related to EDEV Connect remain the property
of
EDEV Connect Limited. Use of the service does not transfer any rights to you.
5. EDEV Connect Account
i. Activation
You can request EDEV Connect service by installing the mobile application on your
Android or iOS
smartphone or by visiting our website www.edevconnect.net. Activation is your responsibility. The
purchased eSIM
will appear under the 'My eSIMs' tab. The contract terminates if no active data package exists after
three months or
if the eSIM is deleted.
ii. Charges
Payments are made via debit/credit card in USD. Transactions are processed securely through Stripe
Elements,
providing encryption and tokenization. Stripe is PCI Level 1 certified. By purchasing, you agree to bear
the
relevant bundle charges.
iii. Termination
- You may terminate the service anytime.
- EDEV Connect may suspend, cancel, or terminate service without notice for
violations of Terms,
abusive behavior, unlawful use, or actions affecting the network.
iv. Consequences of Termination
Upon deactivation, remaining paid days are lost. No refund is available. You lose all rights to access or
use the
application.
6. Use of EDEV Connect
Use services in accordance with laws and these Terms. Ensure device compatibility before purchase.
Refunds are
provided for valid technical activation problems; no refunds for incompatible devices. eSIMs inactive
for three
months may be deactivated. Report lost or stolen devices immediately. You are responsible for all
content
transmitted via the service.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold EDEV Connect harmless regarding misuse or improper use
of the
services.
8. Limitation of Liability
EDEV Connect is not liable for indirect losses (e.g., profits, reputation, business
interruption).
Direct liability is limited to the total amount paid in the prior 12 months. This does not apply to
willful
misconduct or direct personal damage.
9. Modification
We may modify or discontinue services, features, or Terms without notice. Users are responsible for
reviewing Terms
periodically. Continued use indicates acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. In case of any dispute, users are encouraged to first
contact the
Consumer Protection Directorate at the Ministry of Economy and Trade to attempt an amicable resolution.
If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of Beirut.
11. Third Party
Use third-party resources at your own risk. EDEV Connect is not responsible for content,
legality,
or any damage arising from third-party sites.
12. No Waiver
Failure to enforce any part of these Terms does not waive future enforcement rights. Written notice is
required for
any binding waiver.
13. Force Majeure
EDEV Connect is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable
control.
Services may be terminated after 30 days of ongoing force majeure.
14. Warranties
Services are provided professionally. Except for express warranties, services are provided “as is”
without implied
warranties. EDEV Connect is not liable for device interference or service availability.
15. Refer and Earn Program
Users may earn $3 per successful referral through the app. Referred users must complete a purchase.
Cashback of 10%
applies on the third transaction. Credits are non-transferable and used within the app. Program terms
may change at
our discretion.
16. Data Measurement
Data is measured in Gigabytes (GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes). Some devices may use Gibibytes (GiB =
1,073,741,824
bytes). Differences may occur when interpreting data across platforms.
